| Los Angeles, California, is known for its traffic, and the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) Mid-City Exposition Light Rail Transit Line project is poised to provide relief to both drivers and the environment. As part of the Fluor/Flatiron/Parsons team that was chosen by the MTA, Paragon Steel is working to fabricate and install nine transit stations and 14 platforms—each custom-made and featuring progressive design elements and state-of-the-art materials. These special touches include everything from custom perforated Rimex stainless steel panels in the canopy wave design to unique ticket booths, rain protection areas, signage frames, CCTV and VMS poles and guardrails. |
