Sacramento, Calif.—Paragon Steel was contracted by Associated Ready Mix Concrete to provide over 1-1/4 miles of 14" and 16" cement carrier pipe for this new 83,000 ton distribution facility. The cement is shipped in through the Sacramento Harbor to the facility in 30,000 ton units and is blown through the pipes into the warehouse.

Like an intensive roller coaster ride, the cement is then moved through the facilities pipes to the truck silos for shipment.

In record time, a little over five months, Paragon Steel assisted Associated Ready Mix in constructing its new distribution facility. The exterior service catwalks were provided along with the required distribution pipes and fittings.
